DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

We are experienced in troubleshooting and fixing dishwasher issues that can lead to strange noises to come from the appliance. The source of the noises is a broken washer arm bearing, pump housing or motor bushing. Since these are common malfunctions, you can be sure we will be able to fix them ASAP!

LEAKING WATER

There are usually one of two reasons a dishwasher starts to leak water. The first reason is that there is a problem with the door latch or closure and the part will need a replacement. The second cause is a failed water inlet valve that will need to be fixed soon after our arrival to your house. We have all of the manufacturer parts to repair GE, Whirlpool, Sears and name brands of dishwashers.

DOESN’T START

First, if a dishwasher will not turn on, you need to ensure the appliance is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers. If that is not the issue, the issue might be coming from the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN OR FILL

A dishwasher should fill with water and then drain the water after cleaning the dishes. Your dishwasher does not fill if there’s a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher won’t drain if there is a broken drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

Your dishwasher is not much use if dishes are dirty after a cycle. The dishes will still be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have manufacturer replacement parts to repair each of these common dishwasher problems in no time.

WON’T DRY DISHES

The functions of a dishwasher is for it to both wash and dry dishes. You do not want to have to hand dry dishes and silverware following a cycle. Your dishwasher will not dry when there’s a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We can fix or replace all parts for the drying functions of all brands and types of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

For your dishwasher to be able to wash dishes, it needs to be able to dispense soap or detergent within the machine. This can’t happen when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
